They say in business that the customer is always right. If customer service is always on point, then that phrase should never be uttered because the customer will always leave happy. Customer service is key to any thriving business, but especially in the salon industry where the customer experience is more intimate, and they put their confidence in stylists and makeup artists to make them feel beautiful.

Owner of Blown Away Beauty Bar, Whitney, also agrees that customer service is always more challenging when you’re in the service industry versus a product industry and that’s why she and her team make it their #1 focus.

“The little details matter,” Whitney said. Blown Away practices what Whitney calls “The Ten Commandments.” Which consists of the greeting, to everything in between and lastly the invite them to come back again.

Blown Away cares about their customers and it shows in the details. Whitney says in cases like that they listen to the customer, offer a solution and take it as a learning experience. “We value their business and I want to show them that we are very capable of delivery above and beyond their expectations,” Whitney said. “We all are human and are not perfect, but we always strive to let our customers know how much we value them.”
